We`re ready, mum ! Spell Binder and Frasermar Jack Frost

MARCH OPEN SHOW

I hope everyone enjoyed the show, despite the cold.....well we can`t do anything about the weather !

I have only a very small selection of pictures. This is mainly due to an intermittent flash failure in the Minolta, meaning that lots of the ones I took were too dark to use. Also the owner of the BIS prefers to use a professional one . So I haven`t been able to feature the main winners as I usually do, and I apologise. The club doesn`t have a professional photographer - just me - and I don`t claim to be an expert.

Let`s hope I do better at Crufts !

The show well under way

DISCOVER DOGS AGAIN

Thanks to those who have already volunteered for Discover Dogs at Crufts - but we can always use more people and, of course, dogs. (I told my Marcus that he would be doing his duty on the Discover Dogs stand, and he gave me a look that plainly said - "Couldn`t I help with Discover Bitches instead?" )

If you - or your dog - would like to get involved, just let me know!

PUP IDOL

Just to remind you that voting for heat one stops at 6pm on Saturday. And thank you all for voting - so many of you too!

PUP IDOL - HEAT ONE

These are the first sixteen pictures in the Pup Idol competition. As you can see, they are not exactly in order! Blogger and Picasa are really having an off day and refuse to do that for me.....well, it`ll just make it all the more interesting! They are all clearly numbered anyway.

Remember - you are voting for the CUTEST puppy picture. Show quality doesn`t come into it. You are looking for the "Awww!" factor.

You have one week to vote. The second heat will be posted next weekend.....

Start voting, folks!
