Sue Gray has let me know that Hughie Wilson (CALPHIA) died a few days ago. He had been ill for some time and is survived by his wife Evelyn.
Hughie and Evelyn live(d) in Mosstodloch, near Elgin. They have owned Papillons for some years now but aren't what you would call well known names in the show world. They attended quite a few of the open shows and certainly the club shows at Alva and Dunfermline.
He was a very friendly person and always enjoyed a chat.
His funeral will be held on Friday in Elgin and I think he is to be buried in Buckie - the town further up the coast where he came from.
