This is the Papillon or Butterfly Lily, Amaryllis Papilio, which has been in flower for me since Christmas day. It looks like an exotic orchid with its green and purple stripes, but in fact it is related to the red and pink Amaryllis you see in the garden centres, and grows from a bulb like them. It is not difficult to grow, and flowers every year for me.
