EAST OF ENGLAND - THE JUDGE`S REPORT

There appears to be a bit more uniformity in size, although there were a few otherwise very nice exhibits who wre too strong in muzzle. Mouths were good, only one wrong, also a definite improvement in dental hygene since I last judged the breed. Eye colour is still a concern being very light in some cases. The breed standard calls for dark eyes for all colours of Papillon. Light eyes change the expression, making it hard and untypical. However, most had the required eye colour. Movement was good in general with only a few being weak behind. One or two bitches had weight issues which made them move wide in front. Temperaments were without exception excellent. Presentation in all exhibits was of a high standard with a few being outstanding. I enjoyed meeting all your lovely Papillons and I thank you for allowing me to judge them.

1. Borg`s ELENDIL LORD OF THE MARCH Delightful b/w of good breed type, sweet head with alert expression and darkest of eyes, sound body, well set and carried tail, level back, good mover. A super little character.

2. Victor & McLaughlin`s LAFFORD I SHALL FLY TO FARLEYSBANE Attractive tri with nice head and large mobile ears, well made body, moved soundly.

1. Urquhart`s RINGLANDS BRACKEN AT BLACKPARK Elegant black masked r/w with nice head and good ears, sound body level topline and corect tail set. Moved well.

2. Fisher`s ELLMARA ELECTRIK TOUCH tri, attractive puppy, slightly stronger in muzzle than 1, good ears, topline and tail, moved soundly.




JUNIOR DOG 8 entries, 1 abs

1. Robb`s GLENIREN NIKOLIA MANIA b/w of excellent breed type, lovely head and ears and expression, dark eyes, well constructed body and correctly carried tail, moved true, should have a bright future.

2. Welsh`s KAZIM MATADOR Tri, another attractive dog, sweet head and expression, good body, topline and tailset, moved well

1. Atkins` PAPPLEWICK PINBALL WIZARD TO VLINDER Pretty r/w dog with very attractive head and ears, dark eyes and sweet expression, well made body, level back, tail well set and carried when settled his movement is good, A very happy little person.

2. Moss` LAFFORD LORD SNOOTY AT DELPHLANDS Tri of nice type, slightly more muzzle than 1, good ears and head, topline lvel and tail well set.

1. Bartram`s BURGHBRIDGE BLACK SHADOW. Super sound b/w dog whom I have admired from the ringside, pleasing head, excellent body and level back, his eyes are the darkest and his ears large amd mobile. Movement sound and positive RCC

2. Magri and Arrowsmith`s ROZAMIE MOULIN ROUGE. Very attractive r/s dog of good type. Sweet head and expression, very appealing, well made body with level back and correct tail set and carriage. His movement is free and true.

1. Stewart and Stewart Knight`s CH/FIN CH SILJANS RAGGE JR CONNECTION AT TUSSALUD A very handsome, masculine tri dog with a most attractive head and expression. Lovely ears well fringed, super body and topline, correct tail set and carriage. His movement is excellent, in superb condition . CC.

2. Burns` PETITCHIEN MR MELODRAMA A dainty fine boned tri dog with a sweet head and expression. Very good body, level back and well carried tail. Moved freely with confidence. Another in lovely condition.

1. Robb`s GLENIREN LOVE STORY A dainty sweet headed little r/s bitch with such a cheeky character. Well constructed body, level back and high tail set. Movement good. Very appealing.

2. Lees` LAFFORD IFLY Slightly taller elegant tri bitch wsith good head and mobile ears, nice body, moved soundly.

1. Cooper`s ANCOJO DARK AND DARING Super quality b/w puppy, very attractive head, good ears, already fringing well, good neck and topline, correct tail carriage and movement is first class. Showed with confidence. Should have a bright future. BP

2. Cullen`s ANCOJO WHISPER TO ME B/w sister to 1 and the same remarks apply. She has such a sweet expression, a hard decision and I expect these two beautiful girls to change places on occasion.

2. Finlayson`s PETITCHIEN SCARLET O`HARA Shaded r/w, nicely made bitch with a pretty head and expression, sound body, moved with confidence.

A beautiful phalene bitch with an exquisite head and expression, darkest of eyes, excellent body properties, corrrectly set and carried ears and tail. Her movement is proud, true and free.
