THE AWWW! FACTOR - GRAND FINAL

The winner is no,5, and the Grand Prize will be on its way.

There have been a lot of questions about the voting. It is set up so that each person can vote onluy once from one computer...however there have been some very strange voting patterns this time. Restricting the vote to once only is the best I can do., and if there are ways of getting round this, I can`t do anything about it . We have not had this sort of problem before, and I hope it will not affect any future competitions.

Meanwhile a very big thank-you to all those who took time and trouble to send in their pictures - they have given us all a great deal of enjoyment.

You have done your best Elizabeth and thanks for doing all the work involved. For me Heidi and her pups will always remain one of the outstanding Pap pics of all time.

I'm not being jealous but it's a fix. I have showed lots of my friends it and no.5 has never made them say awwwwwww. The person who owns that pap probably has got all their friends to vote.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the winner. To me, both Heidi and the little dog on its back were outstanding Awwwww candidates, and the winner, though a pretty picture, wasn't a worthy holder of the biggest Awwww.

Do we get to know who sent in the winning photo????

Having looked at the photos, i believe number 5 definately has the awwww factor.
134 voters thought so too. It is a personal preference.
If you cannot lose graciously you should not enter competitions. WELL DONE Number 5

Why didnt I think of that? Of course we are all being terribly ungracious - naughty ungracious us.

It was purely by chance that all the voting happened within such a small timeframe despite the fact that the competition was open for days on end.

Now pull the other one, its got great big jingle bells on.

Just got back from holiday, though not my choice well done the winner.
I must adimt I loved the puppy on its back.
Hope you are able to have the same or similar competition again Elizabath, people are just going to have to get on with it knowing that at some point someone is going to call in anyone they know online to vote for there picture, because we all think our own is "SIMPLY THE BEST"
Like most others we enjoyed all the pictures AWWWW factor or not.

yes.. naughty ungracious us i agree..
this is pathetic, its a little competition.

giving abuse over the internet is not what i call a civilised way of dealing with a loss of the competition, i agree well done number 5.

All photos deserved to get to where they did.
As this site states .. only one vote is allowed from one IP address. No cheating or 'jingle bells', yes maybe people get their friends to vote but its not a crime if people like a picture. and not a great big deal.
Congratulations for all those who got through, i hope to see another competition soon
