NORTH OF SCOTLAND TOYDOG

North Of Scotland Toy Dog Society Show – 30.10.05

Judge : Mrs J Davidson-Poston ( Spinillons )

Thank you very much for the invitation to judge. The welcome in Scotland was wonderful and it was a pleasure to come up and get the chance to go over some lovely dogs with so few absentees.

Minor Puppy

(8,8)
Very close between 1 and 2. Both lovely pups. I understand they are litter mates and there really is little between them, On any given day they could easily exchange places, in the end just down to nit picking. Both very promising puppies whose show careers I look forward to following.

1. Whitehills Frasermar Jackfrost , Baby tri puppy dog of 6 months. Gorgeous head, nice outline, lovely reach of neck, moves well, beautifully presented. BP

2. Patrick’s Frasermar Snowbird Volpecula. Real baby Tri puppy bitch, Very similar to 1, much of the same attributes, though marginally less settled on the move, will come with age and maturity.

3. Anderson & O`Kane`s Northlyte Star Attraction

4. Leiper`s Amicae Hide and Seek

Puppy (9,10)

Also Very close in this class between 1 and 2.

1. R & A Skeltons Careless Whisper at Adnamashan. R/S/W Bitch of nice honest type. Super outline, Moved well. Shown and presented to perfection. Lovely dark eye that strikes you instantly and which these days are unusual for a red. So lively and alert just as the standard calls for. Look forward to seeing her in the future.

2. Andersen & O Kane’s Pamhurst Secret Whisper at Northlyte. R/S/W Very much As 1 Just marginally heavier in type and less settled today but Whom on another day could easily have changed places. Another I look forward to seeing out.

3. Patrick`s Volpecula Early Bird

4. Joyce`s Calajoy Robbie McFluff

Junior (6,8)

1. R & A Skeltons Adnamshan Kiss N Tell. Really nice Dog of 17 months, so lively and alert I was drawn to him . Sound on the move, keeping Lovely outline, Coat coming in well for age and of nice texture. Attractive head with Good ears, which were used well and well fringed. I have no doubt we will be seeing more of this boy winning well in the future.

2. Goodwin’s Imago Carrie On Honeybun. Very pretty r/w bitch, Fine and dainty. Lovely head with super dark eye . Good ears, which she used well. Moved ok.

3. Fraser`s Abbeyton Sunshine Boy

4. Taylor`s Pamhurst He`s a Star

Novice (4,5)

1. Joyce’s Calajoy Wish For Me. Honest red/white bitch, moved well with a nice clean outline. Showed happily.

2. R&A Skeltons Pamhurst Whisper at Adnamashan. Lively tri pup of 7 months, still very much a baby. Nice outline and fine in type. Showed and presented well. Loved the way he twisted his head attentively to his handler.

3. Pamhurst He`s a Star

4. Lees` Raceburns Sweet Breeze

Post Graduate (11,13)

Wonderful class, best of the day, with some nice dogs not placed.

1. Volpecula Vanity’s Mirror. Gorgeous, fine and dainty Tri dog of smaller size with the most exquisite head I have seen in a long while, totally to die for, could not take my eyes off him from the second he entered the ring. Lovely dark eye, Super ears, which were well fringed and used well. Moved and shown very well. I know this one has a bright future and look forward to seeing him again, especially once fully matured.

2. Leipers Calajoy Dougal Mcshuggle. Another gorgeous looking dog with fabulous head. Very nice Red and White male of Lovely fine type. Nice size with good ears which were used well. Lovely outline Presented and handled well to get the most of him, moved ok.

3. Abbeyton Summer Sun

4. Goodwin`s Imago Kippipeo

Limit (6,8)

1. Grays Pyatshaw Murphys law. 6 year old red/white dog who, though greying slightly, asked for my attention when he came in the ring. Showy in type and nature and great to watch. Presented and shown well. Mature in body, very good spring of rib, depth of chest. Nicely fine boned for size. Moved so cleanly and well on the front and I found myself unable to deny him both limit and open class and eventually his maturity and style won him Best dog/BOS.

2, Smiths Mister Percival of Adinken, many of the attributes of 1 but stronger and larger in type and just lost out to my preferences, Nice honest dog

3. Doig`s Jaylanjay Amalady

4. Taylor`s Pamhurst She`s a Lady.

Open Dog

1. Pyatshaw Murphy`s Law

2. Savage`s Abbeyton Silver Rain Really nice honest 6 year old B/W mature male. Shown and presented in tip top condition. Good spring of Rib / depth of chest, moved so well. Sadly not such a happy bunny in the ring and that just lost him out on this occasion.

3. McGregor`s Pyatshaw White Heat

4. Lees` Meerwings Blowin in the Wind

Open Bitch

1. Smiths Wee Lucy of Adinaken. Lovely r/s/w Bitch of Nice size. Presented and shown skillfully. Lovely outline, pleasure to feel good spring of rib and depth of chest . Put together well and Sound enough on the move. Best Bitch and Best of Breed.

2. Whitehills Amicae Startime. Superbly constructed Tri bitch with lovely head and body to match. She moved very well but sadly did not do herself justice and stand to complete the package. Very Sympathetically handled and on Another day and she could easily have swapped places with 1. Would not mind her myself. I shall watch her future with interest.

3. Savage`s Abbeyton With a Touch of Gold

4. Doig`s Jaylanjay Amalady
